Missionettes

Led by Dolly Oliver The Missionette program is a top-quality discipleship program for girls ages 3 through 13. It is also for boys of ages 3 and 4, who will eventually join the Royal Rangers Program. The program offers five different clubs: Rainbows, Daisies, Prims, Stars, and Friends. We meet on Friday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. During this time, the children have a lesson, worksheet to complete, learn bible memory verses, do crafts, play games and have a snack. Rainbows: They are the youngest missionette club and this club is for girls and boys ages 3 and 4. Daisies: They are in the "Sonshine" club. This is for girls attending kindergarten. Prims: They are in the "Discovery" club. This is for girls in the first and second grades. Stars: The girls in this group attend third to fifth grades. They form the Stars club. Friends: The Friends club was developed to specifically meet the spiritual and social needs of girls in the sixth through eighth grades.   Twice a year, badges are given out to each girl or boy earning them. Other activities during the year include the following: - In May we have "Missionetter Rally Day", which is attended by our Prims and Daisies. - In June there is the annual "Powette". This is attended by the Stars. - In September we have National Missionette Week. We also have our "National Sleepover". - In October there is an annual hay ride. - In December we have our annual Christmas Party.
