The Edge Youth Ministries

The Edge Youth Ministries exists to win, build, and send students in order to fulfill the Masters Great Commission among this generation of young people. We recognize the need of this day, knowing that if we do not reach today’s generation of teenagers and high school students now, they may never be able to be reached. Statistics say that if a person does not experience salvation before the age of twenty the likelihood of salvation decreases by 90%. So we are committed to reaching out to, and also equipping teenagers to become effective followers of Christ in their church, family, school, and their community. If we don’t reach them now, we may never.
We prayerfully and carefully create an atmosphere that would reach this generation of teens. Young people leave Friday night at The Edge not only having a good time, as we make sure that they do, but they also leave that night having heard the Word of God in a relevant way that changes hearts and lives for the glory of God.
Worship here at The Edge is a priority. Our worship team leads our young people in a time of up beat and modern worship experience. We believe that as we worship and God so fills the place that hearts and lives will be changed as we open ourselves up to the work of the Holy Spirit.
This youth ministry has in the past, and still does participate in Fine Arts conventions, youth conventions, and youth camps. We also teach our young people the importance of giving and missions through our involvement in Speed the Light, which provides vehicles and equipment for missionaries around the world in order to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation. In our endeavors in raising funds for missionaries we have a fundraiser once a year that we call the Bible Read-A-Thon where we not only raise fund, but it is an all night event, and the students have a blast as we make sure they have a good time, and they do. We also have a Drama ministry that helps and aids in ministering to their fellow youth, as a video/media ministry where God works through the creativity of creative minds. God is doing great things at The Edge and also has great things in store for this youth ministry on the move.
